Zanzibar, Arusha and Ngorongoro Tour Overview

Embark on a 10-day adventure exploring Tanzania’s iconic wildlife and pristine beaches.

Your journey begins in Arusha, where you’ll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your accommodation for a restful night, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

In Tarangire National Park, known as the "Elephant Playground," you’ll explore the park’s diverse wildlife, including large herds of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. The Tarangire River draws animals during the dry season, making for spectacular game viewing.

Next, visit Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingo-filled lake, and over 400 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. Along with lions, you’ll spot elephants, giraffes, and zebras.

Then, venture into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Garden of Eden.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros). Game drives into the crater offer up-close encounters with the rich ecosystem.

Afterward, head to Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous safari destinations in Africa. Witness the Great Migration (seasonal) or enjoy year-round wildlife viewing, including predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You can also opt for a magical Balloon Safari, offering breathtaking aerial views of the plains, followed by a champagne breakfast upon landing.

In Central Serengeti (Seronera), enjoy game drives across the vast plains, where big cats, such as lions and leopards, roam freely. The region is known for its excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, especially near rocky outcrops where lions rest.

Your safari adventure begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where our friendly team will greet you. After a warm welcome, we’ll transfer you to your comfortable accommodation at Moivaro Lodge Arusha. Here, you can relax and prepare for the thrilling journey ahead, surrounded by the beauty of Tanzania.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Enjoy another day of adventure in Tarangire National Park, allowing you to explore its rich and diverse ecosystems. After a delightful lunch, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot more of the park’s incredible wildlife. As the day winds down, we’ll transfer you to Karatu, where you can relax and unwind for the evening at the peaceful Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Get ready for an exciting adventure at Lake Manyara National Park, a haven for birdwatchers and home to the famous tree-climbing lions. Spend the day exploring the park’s unique wildlife and stunning landscapes. After your exploration, we’ll take you back to Karatu, where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful evening at the charming Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Embark on an exciting journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “African Eden.” Descend into the lush caldera, home to a rich array of wildlife, from vast herds to elusive predators. Experience the harmony between the natural beauty and thriving ecosystem of the crater.

In the evening, we’ll continue our journey towards the iconic Serengeti National Park. As you arrive in the Central Serengeti, you’ll be welcomed by the park's incredible wildlife and sweeping savannah landscapes. Spend a magical evening in the heart of the Serengeti and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Narudi Tented Camps.

Day 5

Full Day at Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Central Serengeti. Rise early for a full day of exhilarating game drives, where you’ll have the chance to witness the incredible wildlife diversity that calls this region home, including the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Keep your camera ready as you capture unforgettable moments in this wildlife paradise. As the day winds down, return to your cozy accommodation at Narudi Tented Camps, where the sounds of the wilderness will lull you to sleep.

For an added adventure, consider a Hot Air Balloon ride over the Serengeti Plains (available at an extra cost, with prior arrangement). Glide silently above the awakening bush, spotting wildlife below and enjoying breathtaking views of the African landscape, including rivers and small villages. This is an experience you won’t forget!

Day 6

Half Day in Central Serengeti and fly to Zanzibar

Your adventure is far from over! Spend the morning enjoying a final game drive in Central Serengeti, capturing those last incredible wildlife moments. Later in the afternoon, we’ll escort you to Seronera Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ), you’ll be greeted by a ZAFS Tours representative who will transfer you to Smiles Beach Hotel in Nungwi. Here, you can unwind and prepare to indulge in the tropical beauty and relaxation that Zanzibar offers.

Day 7

Leisure Days in Zanzibar

This day is yours to fully indulge in the beauty of Nungwi. Spend your time basking in the sun on the powdery white sands, taking a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters, or exploring the vibrant local markets. With a heart full of memories, it's time to say goodbye to Tanzania. On your departure day, we’ll pick you up from the hotel and escort you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, where you’ll catch your flight back home.

Note: Hotel check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you need a late check-out due to an evening flight, you can extend your stay until 6:00 PM for an additional fee.
